I guess we know what ol’ Karl thinks of the Constitution and those who dare to think that it should be adhered to. He thinks that adhering to it is not politically expedient

He discredits himself enormously by not releasing it.

At this point he is discredited if he does and discredited if he doesn't.

Trump-Rubio 2012?

Think of the electoral possibilities: NY and FL each have 29 electoral votes

The birth cert. issue is a diverson. 0’bs father was a British subject. It really doesn’t matter which of the 57 states he was born it. He is illegal and the SCOTUS is aiding in the scam.

Dear Karl,

The last time the republicans trusted you (2006) we learned a lot.We woke up to the fact that the democrats had taken the house, and we lost seats in the senate. Your further assistance in attempting to guide the republican party left the party beyond damaged in 2008.

Yes Karl, we learned. So much so, that I would like to this opportunity to inform you, that, your opinion in this matter is a waste of oxygen. Should we need a professional opinion, we will be contacting the TEA party movement.

What happened in 2006?

I gave up on him in 2003 when he was part of the clan pushing Schwarzenegger as a conservative Republican.
After that, he had zero credibility in my book.

Big spender Bush did that.
Boehner is following his lead now.

Go away Karl; you’ve had your day.

Trump ain’t doing this for the Republican nomination. He’s a stalking horse for someone.

Oh? If Trump is a stalking horse, what's in it for him?

Somebody tell Rove he doesn’t speak for Republicans.

***************************

With all respect, lonestar, he most certainly does. Who he does not speak for, and never has, is conservatives.

Not quite. We conservatives ARE the Republicans. Rove speaks for the RINOs.

"The right wing base of the Republican party, I'm part of that right wing base, is not in love with the issue of birthers. I mean, there is an element inside the Republican party, and outside the Republican party, that's fallen in love with this but the majority of Republicans and the vast majority of Americans accept is he a U.S. citizen capable of being president."

"Right wing"? I don't recall him supporting right wing candidates in the last election. Wasn't he the adviser for a compassionate conservative? AKA socialism light. Rove, being a RINO, wouldn't admit it if he knew Obama was not a citizen. It would be admitting to being a fool and letting McShame lose to someone who should not have been running.

I think Trump and Rove are in this together as a carefully-scripted strategy to split the Palin primary vote and get the nomination to Romney.

Sarah's no dummy. I'm pretty sure she knows that she can easily defeat that strategy by also publicly demanding the release of Obama's bc.

Trump had better have a LOT more up his sleeve, if he wants to split off enough votes from Palin to swing the nomination to Mitt. Frankly, Donald's got the wrong positioning and branding to be seriously considered by most voters anyway, and Mitt's been practically AWOL for the last two years. He's hardly got any connection to mainstream voters anymore. The only ones we hear gushing about him, are presstitutes.

There are some people who will jump up and voice support for anyone who rocks their world for a day, but I think they'll soon calm down. Remember all of the "Scott Brown for President!!!" posts we saw here? When the real primary gets rolling, I think we'll see that Trump was just a flash in the pan.

The same way he dismisses the huge number of U.S. citizens who disagree with his stance on illegal aliens!

He is not now, nor has he ever been, a truly conservative Republican.

be prepared to be embarrassed when 0bama does release his birth certificate.

Use your noggin, friend. Obama has already blown whatever credibility he might have had on this issue, by not immediately releasing his long form bc for public scrutiny (not to mention every other public record he's had locked up).

He should have done all this two years ago, to prove to the American people that he was everyone's president, and could be trusted to hold the office. But he didn't. He stonewalled, and used every possible fortification to keep his past hidden from the public.

Releasing any documentary evidence at this point, is going to create nothing but disbelief and suspicion amongst the public. I can guarantee you, that only the most zombified Obots will buy it, at this point.

There is NO upside in this issue for Obama. There is only revelation, resulting in total destruction of his presidency.

Trump-Rubio 2012?

No thanks.

Trump is all over the map, politically, and has contributed handsomely to Democrats (including Hillary) in the recent past. He was against every conservative position before he was for them, and has praised lib/Dems in the press.

Rubio is great, but he's another freshman who needs more simmering before he's ready for the executive suite.

If it weren’t for politics, KR would be sleeping on a park bench. I doubt he’s never earned a nickel, outside of politics. I’d wager he never had a paper route, nor flipped a burger at a fast food restaurant. And, we know he never served in the Armed Forces of the US. He’s never had to do any of the things that make a man, a man.

Move over Rover, Sarah’s taking over. I would say pass her the baton, but I’m afraid of what she might do with it, if it came from you. It could get ugly...deservedly so, I might add.

One might ascertain I am no fan of a low life political shyster. A flake like Rove would sell his soul to the devil, if that’s what it took to meet his objective. In fact, judging from his commentary today, I think he did.

Can we just clove-hitch Rove, McLain, and Lieberman onto a cruise missile and fire them off somewhere never to hear from them again? Could we offer them early retirement?

Notice how Rove becomes the media’s Lady Gaga when he is trashing Republicans as he did with Christine O’Donnell and Sherron Angle? Otherwise, he is the vile residue of even more vile GWBush.
