Oh yea...I saw this coming when they first wanted a no-fly zone in Libya. The Arabs were going to play this for all it's worth and then some...heck it was a constant on the war room chats..."Why no-fly zones in Yemen..Iran...Egypt..Tusania etc. etc. etc.
Our government...and the world for that matter just has not yet understood the perceptions and how the muslim mind calibrates and determines....always the victim...everybody else is the bad boy...life isn't fair to them...the world is against them just for existing..and they whine and cary on until the world grants them just to get them off their backs.
So many of their tactics are as children use because in many ways their ability to discern and make judgeements has been so 'fried by the abuses' they do to each other from the time they are children and throughout til adulthood and beyond. Their reasoning abilitiesfurther twisted via Islamic practices only further destroy any spirit of hope within their very souls. I am convinced most muslem children are far gone in childhood alone.
Same with many of the owman who dramatize everything in life. Like teeagers do as if they're all stuck in that mode. I see very little hope of changing the status quo apart from a direct intervention from the one true God...which for thier years of doctrination in the false God they've served...it takes years to undo the damage...if at all.

Back Channel: Appears that the invitation to Mariam Rajavi, current woman leader of the MEK (mojaheddin opposition exiles) last month by Chancellor Merkel of Germany to confer with members of the German parliament (Reichstag) is partly behind the attack on Camp Ashraf in Iraq, the other day. And inspired by teh Islamic regome of Iran which has escalated anti-MEK and anti-American activity in Iraq.
The Islamic regime and its agents fear teh MEK is being groomed by the West to take over from the Islamic regime.
SOME BACKGROUND
Camp Ashraf is the exile site of the MEK (Mojaheddin) - Marxist Islamists - who supported and helped Khomeini come to power by co-operating with the Soviets.
When he let them down and began arresting them, they moved to Iraq and joined Saddam Hussein against the Mullahs.
They became a trained paramilitary force with heavy weapons and the biggest threat to the Mullahs. So Khomeini ordered the murder of some 30,000 of them he held in his prisons.
Their center of operations after we invaded Iraq was in Camp Ashraf. We insisted they hand over their weapons and protected them as “refugees” in that camp/town.
In the meantime, they moved to Europe (mostly France), got labelled as terrorists by the USA, and initially by France which confiscated their funds but later unlabelled them as terrorists and returned the money to Mariam Razavi, the former wife of the founder and now their current leader.
Out of sheer fear of the only trained and determined enemy capable of waging a military attack, for decades the Mullahs have waged a smearing campaign inside Iran and turned them into the bogeyman of Iran. Based on their having fought and killed Iranians in their attacks on Iran to fight the mullahs.
They are in effect a cult and in their own way as bad as the Mullahs so at best should be considered a tool to remove the clerics and then be removed with no chance to grow deep roots inside Iran.
They had an esimated 150,000 followers inside Iran, who are just “man in the street” (actually mostly woman in the street) supporters of their cause and not readily distinguishable by any tribal or regional affiliation.
The Mullahs have managed to infiltrate them and create a schism in leadership, with the new ones obeying the Mullahs though pretending to be against them.
As Iranian influence in Iraq grew as fighting wound down, Iran insisted that Iraq dismantle Camp Ashraf and not harbor enemies of their neighbor within their borders. Even going so far as to shell the camp with rockets from inside Iran and mortars by Iranian Ghods special forces who crossed into Iraq to use mortars to attack the camp.
As America handed over control of the country back to Iraq, their previous protection of Camp Ashraf was ratcheted back and the Camp handed over to Iraqi rule. And thus - under Iranian political pressure - subject to attack by Iraqi forces as took place yesterday.
The Iraqis are trying to expel the MEK from Iraq to avoid a bone of contention/conflict with an ever growing and dangerous Iranian presence inside Iraq.
They are throwing the MEK under the bus in Obama fashion. Yesterday’s attack may have been more restrained because of American requeests.
The actual trigger was the very recent disclosure by the MEK, our best spies inside Iran, of the secret factory of nuclear centrifuge components in Tehran.
All along, it has been information provided by the “hated” (according to the Mullahs) MEK which has given the West details of Iranian nuclear plants and programs and their locations.
The State Department under Hillary Clinton has refused to remove the terrorist label from the MEK, as Europe/EU has done and Obama’s support of the Mullahs has removed American protection of Camp Ashraf and his weakness has encourage Iran to press for their imprisonment and destruction of their “opposition” refugee camp.
This recent event is a REPEAT of a similar 2008 event against the camp.
