My observation of the Iranian people is that they are very prone to westernization and 70% of them are under the age of 30. They just want the Mullahs gone so they can be more like Americans. These young folks want to go out in western dress and have a good time. I don’t think they dwell a lot on the second coming of the Mahdi.
Azchmedendijad who is a nutty nut nutty probably does believe this stuff but I think the Mullahs keep a pretty tight leash on him. I think he is more of a sock puppet than Barry is. Just my opinion I could be wrong.
Which therein lays the problem which otherwise education itself will not overcome....the Korans teachings and the clerics who reinforce those teachings under threat to the individuals...is embedded in them so deeply only an encounter with the true God can root it out. Mans means will simply be a fruitless endeavor....and certainly democracy isn't going to fix whats' mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually broken in the majority of Muslims.
