On Senate Call, a Glimpse of Marching Orders (Schumer: Dems told him use word for week 'extreme')

"another NY democrat fool and his gang of idiots" would have worked. We can do without your bigotry.

Yes the term "idiot Jew" is harsh.

Boxer, Blumenthal, Schumer and Cardin are all Jewish, however. Tom Carper is a Presbyterian and Vietnam vet. He was also previously the Gov. of Delaware.

“I always use the word extreme,” Mr. Schumer said, “That is what the caucus instructed me to use this week.”

Yeah Schmuckie, maybe because your, 'Out of the mainstream'mantra wasn't radical enough and doing its intended job.

What's your point? I have a list of moronic Irishmen, Germans, Christians, etc. etc. too. Go back and look at the context. Bigoted.

I supposed there is some middle ground between fitting the definition of a bigot
"a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance"

...and discussion of group dynamics within politics.

Groups like the Congressional Black Caucus are surely worthy of criticism because they are consistently working to ruin America.

One might even criticise blacks for voting so overwhelmingly for Obama without being a bigot.

It's a sad fact that almost as large a majority of Jews voter for Obama, and that among the vastly overrepresented Jews in the Congress all but one are Democrats, and many are among the most liberal Democrats.

I am interested in understanding everything I can about the Democrats and Obama supporters and what motivates them, including their race, religion, ethnos and gender.

Surely you know that these are among the top tools of all political professionals and pollsters.

In short, I don't agree that merely noting that a group that is getting together is Jewish is rises to proof of bigotry, anymore than noting that the 19 men involved in a gang rape in Texas were all black makes me a racist.

I realize others would prefer that no discussion of groups ever take place - that we whites deal with the world as a completely isolated set of atomic individuals. (Sort of the Randian view.)

That doesn't work for me. Not in a world full of La Raza, NAACP, JDLs -- where all the people opposing my views are explicitly organized around racial and ethnic lines.

To follow that proposal results in way to asymetrical a battle: sort of the rebels against the air-force. So, I reject it.

Here’s a link to Schumer actually using the “coordinated message” in remarks about the budget: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2696034/posts

I have a list of moronic Irishmen, Germans, Christians, etc. etc. too.

And it's perfectly acceptable in our society to criticize those groups as groups without condemnation. Yet, some groups are not allowed to be criticized as groups. Why is that?

I have great respect for the Jewish people just not the ones that vote for the democrats and that will take most of the Jews in NYC..I have no respect for people like Schumer or his scags..I am not the only person on this site to think that way..
