The two issues are really the same. Regardless of where we are in our lives, whether in the womb or further along the way, being pro-life should be a consistent belief and corresponding action. If we approached abortion as some have approached end of life issues, we would ask first what economic repercussions saving an unborn child would have. " What if the mother can't afford the baby ?" would be as important as "Who's going to pay for the hospital stay?" for someone like Terri Schiavo, or for baby Joseph.

One is either pro-life, or one is not.
