Donald Trump is a big businessman, we can all agree. Like big bankers and other big financiers, they walk on political eggshells throughout their working careers when it comes to politics. They give money to both sides on the hopes that they will be left alone to make their money and their careers in peace without legislative interference, regulatory restrictions, and other politically detrimental moves that will adversely affect their businesses. And they all have good reason to worry, as that is exactly what politicians so often do, harrass business.

So, the Donald would say nice things about both sides, contribute to both sides, to cover his business interests from attack. Hence his contributions to Rahm Emanuel, who the Donald knew would become Mayor of Chicago, where Trump has real estate interests, including a Chicago Trump Tower. He’s no fool.

Slightly off subject, but nevertheles with some similarities, Dwight Eisenhower as a military commander, stayed out of politics, never showing his hand while in the military as required. However, as a desirable political candidate, he was courted by both sides and chose Republican. Sometimes you don’t show your political hand until after your primary career is pretty much over. Trump was a registered Pub for quite a few years, and then dropped off politically for some years (as it was the business-wise smart thing to do) before picking up again as a registered Pub in 2009. He is now weighing a possible actual political career and has come down firmly on the Pub side of the scale. Because, I believe, he can’t stand Obama’s policies, in particularly in the area of foreign trade, finances, and business in general.

Now, Trump is no dumb bunny. He, in typical Trump fashion, decides to make a splash to get attention. Hence he brings up the Birther issue. However, I don’t believe that is his only reason. He smells a rat. He smells a fraud, and that fraud is Obama. Plus, he hates how Obama has been picking on the business community of which he is one.

Now you can loathe him or you can love him. You can vote for him if he ever even announces his attentions to actually run for the Presidency, or you don’t have to. However, right now I hope he continues to speak on the Birther issue and keeps it in the forefront of the news as much as possible so that others will be less afraid to tackle the issue in public until the truth comes out. And, in spite of whatever baggage Trump may have, I would be willing to wager that if by some total fluke of fate Trump ever became President, that he would pan out to be a pretty good one because of his business acumen. But that’s for each of you to ascertain. For the moment, I’m on the side of Trump doing precisely what he is doing, so that the truth about Obama will out. We all know that Obama was a true Manchurian candidate, and is now our Manchurian President. He must be exposed and if Trump is a vehicle to aid in that endeavor, bully.

But I can’t get past the fact that when true conservatives were frantically trying to spread the idea that Obama was a disaster, Trump thought Obama was a good idea.

For this reason, and the fact that Trump liked Hillarycare, I am fully convinced Trump is another empty suit, no better than Obama. Our problems are so bad, the only way to fix them is to elect leaders who have rejected the fraud from the beginning. This means no rinos, and no slick businessmen.

If you have no moral grounding, you can transform from a Donald Trump to a Barack Obama in no time.

As a small business person I testify that even decisions that seem simple, such as making a street one-way, timing of road repairs, or getting permission to put in a “curb cut” to allow entrance to a business, can make or break a business.

It is never a good idea to have political figures mad at you.
