I'm glad you posted "Elected". It's one of the great underestimated songs from the early Seventies.

What struck me then, and still strikes me now, is just how well it is produced. The brass comes in unobtrusively in the middle and again at the end, and finally takes over. Few producers know how to handle brass instruments that intelligently and that delicately. Even after 40 years, it sounds great.
