Were they “flying” tanks? The Brits have chosen Mahamoud Jidrel as their man in Tripoli. If there was ever a “war for oil”, this is it.
If the Libyan forces had any sense, those tanks would be in populated areas. The coalition forces aren’t going to bomb innoicent civilians. You can’t fight an Urban war from the air unless you are willing to do what we did in WW II.
Whatever this fight's about, it's funny how a rag-tag group of rebels/whoever-the-hell-they-are have managed to maneuver the world powers into fighting the fight for them.
