On Gaza, Elaraby confirmed Egypt's "firm position on the need to take into consideration the humanitarian issues and holds Israel responsible for them as an occupying force." But, of course, Egypt is committed to peace with this "occupying force". To say otherwise, would tip their hand.

Sure they want Peace!
From various sources:Peace comes through submission to Islam.
Muslim have to fight on until there is "no more tumult or oppression" Quran 2:190-193, Q. 9:5 (Yousuf Ali).
When there is nore tumult or oppression, when there is submission, then there will be peace.
The word Islam is derived from the triliteral root SLM, which means "submission" or "peace".
