“My parents took me to Panama City Beach every summer and we would rent a little house ob the beach about a 1.4 mile from the “Miracle strip”. The biggest thing was to walk to the carnival and ride the rides, watch the muscle guys work out on the beach, play the arcade games then walk home. We would swim in the ocean most of the day and in the evenings we would play in the sand dunes. Such wonderful memories. Panama City Beach will never get its charm back. Drunk’n, rowdy bad mannered high school and college kids can really ruin true beauty.”

Did those in that video really look like drunken “college” kids? You’re too kind

LOL. You know, I watched a Panama City spring break thing on TV last night or night before. Anyway, I was so heartsick, it just spewed out when I started to comment and I went way off. When I realized it, I didn’t care - sorry - I was in the moment;) And, you right, I would have been too kind.

I went through Navy flight training in Pensacola 1968-1969, before moving to advanced training. Pensy is just down the road from Panama City. It was a quiet, well-behaved, beautiful area, if a bit poor. Something like this was unthinkable just 40 years ago. How the Dems/Libs have changed everything.
