Correct - the ‘Super-Fulcrum’ and ‘Super-Viper’ really had next to no chance in this competition. The other contenders - the F/A-18 E/F, Eurofighter, Rafale and Gripen NG did not have some of the disadvantages the Fulcrum and Viper had.
