Michelle Obama on Wednesday weighed in on the one-year anniversary of the health care law her husband signed into law, arguing that the changes will help parents raise a generation of “happy and healthy kids.”
Sharing a “personal” story in an op-ed on Yahoo’s Shine website, Obama said that as a working mom in her pre-White House days, she had “the best intentions” to feed her daughters Malia and Sasha healthy food on a budget, but admitted that “sometimes pizza or the drive-thru were inevitable.”

Maybe she’ll at least cover herself now that she’s back in D.C. She’ll probably wear something hideous but hopefully we won’t have to look at her armpits and back.
These two in the White House have no clue what their role is. They have never graduated into realizing that they were not elected to be the old Grandma and Grandpa of the nation. They moved in and figured their main job is to give family living advice to the masses of the country. They think of this as the most important thing they can do...mainly because they CANNOT BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND AND ADDRESS REAL PROBLEMS AND COMPLICATED ISSUES FACING OUR COUNTRY.
So...In order to capture the adoration of the dumb masses, they play at caring about people's well being, their health, what they eat, etc...and believe that endears them to those who also have no clue about important issues -- and what the country really needs in a leader.
Having Barack and Michelle in the White House is like having two old relatives always telling you to wear a sweater when it is cold (and you already know what to do). They think their advice sounds like they care, but actually they have no ability to do anything more than pass along simplistic, irrelevant, and repetitive words as if they are talking to idiots who cannot make adult decisions about life. (Truly, when it comes to those who elected them and continually fall for their phony concern...they are idiots!)

I think Michelle has a secret urge she is trying to fill by exposing just enough of herself so often to attract the wrong kind of male attention. I am sure it has to do with the real relationship she has with Barack as opposed to the dream-like marriage the media wants us to believe they have. No woman who is secure in her marriage relationship, who feels well-loved and cherished would be seen in public showing her "camel toe," "panty lines," and continually exposing so much skin. Those are the tactics of a woman who is seeking a bit of lusty oogaling from onlookers.

Inquiring minds would wonder who paid for her plane ticket. I just know these grifters wouldn’t ask us to pay for MIL’s buddy to go to South America.

I thought Grandma moved to the Big White to take care of the girls?? That’s what we were all told - in fact, they had to ‘convince’ her to move with them supposedly.
If that really is a nanny, just watch, she too will be on the Let’s Move campaign. It appears that it is only Moochelle who is not walking the talk.
I’ve tried to search for who she might be, but all I could come up with was articles about Obama’s childhood nanny who was a transvestite. LOL.

On the stage at the Democratic National Convention in August, Michelle Obama told her daughters that she had a surprise for them.
“Is it the Jonas Brothers?” 10-year-old Malia asked excitedly.
Uh, no. It was Daddy appearing live on a video feed from Kansas City.
Turns out Malia and her 7-year-old sister, Sasha, were not thrilled that the historic convention conflicted with their fave teen band’s concert in Chicago, Barack Obama told reporters on a campaign plane.
The episode illustrates how well Michelle Obama has succeeded in keeping the lives — and priorities — of her young daughters nearly as normal as those of children in millions of American families. Friends of Mrs. Obama , 44, describe her as a typical working mother in many ways.
“First and foremost, she’s a mom,” said Valerie Jarrett, now president of The Habitat Company, who hired Michelle Obama to work in the office of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. “I knew her as a professional woman for the first few years. ... But her daughters were her first priority from the days they were born.”
Now her friend’s life is “a balancing act” between the campaign trail and her daughters at home, explained Jarrett.
Michelle Obama campaigns three or four days a week but doesn’t like to spend more than one night a week away from her daughters. Her 71-year-old mother, Marian Robinson, lives nearby and picks the girls up from school every afternoon. Malia and Sasha call her “Grandma” and she sleeps over when her daughter is away overnight. There is no nanny .

After President Barack Obama was elected, his mother-in-law, Marian Robinson, said that she loved her family, but she loved her home in Chicago too.
“The White House reminds me of a museum, and it’s like, how do you sleep in a museum?” she asked People magazine.
One whirlwind year later — after world travel, a state dinner, retreats at Camp David and holiday extravaganzas — it appears the first lady’s mother is sleeping quite well.
For Robinson, 72, life in the “President’s House” has evolved from a trial run to what looks like an I’m-here-for-the-duration stay.
Early this year, Michelle Obama confessed that she’d worried about plucking her mother from familiar surroundings near two of Robinson’s sisters on the South Side.
“She wasn’t completely kicking and screaming, but it was clear that her preference would be to remain in her old life,” the first lady said. “So I’m happy that she’s really settled in and feels like this is home for her.”
Robinson remains nanny -in-chief to Obama daughters Malia , 11, and Sasha, 8, though she doesn’t seem to aspire to be “granny-in-chief” to the nation.
Her brother Steve Shields, of Chicago, said that while in Washington, she is “primarily focusing on being there for the girls, and that’s why she keeps a low profile. It’s not about ribbon-cuttings.”
