My post went through too soon. He was also in charge of training, etc. I am not dimishing his service, but I just don't think you can compare RR and Sarah. It was a different time and a different war, and a lot of people served who may not have served today.

I think both of them are good administrators and leaders. RR had more experience since he was over 20 years older when he ran for president.

I know Adam West had military experience, but does he have experience running a business or a state? Herman Cain has run a business, but does he have military experience? I could go on, but we just don't have a RR clone out there that I know of.

What's your point? As Executive Officer he had administrative responsibility for a large unit. That's more executive experience by itself than Barack Obama ever had before the Presidency.

Notice how we never see threads this long about Huck or Mitt. The reason being no one cares enough to argue for them. Palin is the real deal. She will win the primary and the election going away.. Will she have coat tails? Will the “Tea Party” reappear to help us get rid of a lot of these RINOs so that when she does win things can get fixed?

We can win the Whitehouse in 12’, but if we keep electing these turds to the senate nothing will change...
