Search function is fine - people just need to use it. And not search a headline verbatim - only one or two keywords are enough.

Here’s what I do.

Go to Google and type
“Elizabeth Taylor site:www.freerepublic.com”

Then select in the filter “Past 24 Hours”.

Pretty much works every time.
