if Freepers “destroy” someone like Newt Gingrich, it’s hardly because he was ‘divorced’! It’s all the perceived side issues like abandoning his ill wife, all those nasty little things that make you question his character.

Am I wrong or is this wife that Gingrich divorced his high school teacher who seduced him and then got him to marry her when she got pregnant by him?

I'm not supporting Gingrich, but if this wife is the same woman, then I think he ought to get a pass for finally walking away from that 'marriage.'
