I love my hot wire bulbs in winter. They have a special color and keep rooms warm in winter too.

Why can’t I own infrared or uv lights that I may need, is the weirdest jack booted guilt making and arbitrary criminalization of the citizen yet.

That's the truth. When I'm working on my model trains, I've got a traditional art lamp on an articulated arm. It's nice to be able to bring the light up to the work, both for illumination and warmth!

Also, if you like to use a dimmer switch (I have them in my dinning room and dining area in my kitchen-I love to use candles and dim the chandelier), they won't work with the dimmer.
