The positive and optimistic structure and learning environment of Rush’s “Romper Room,” vs. the vile, reprehensible “piss Christ” of NPR’s “art”?

OK... that comparison is fine with me.

FTA: Moyers: “personal vision of reality”

Reality is or is not.

This insanity of such a statement is pure liberal moral realtivism and automatically causes me to ignore anyone who spouts it.

now that you mentioned art, let's defund the NEA

back in ancient italy, the artists, like Michelangelo, had to perfect their skills to be better able to sell items created to potential buyers.

once you provide govt assistance, the need to push ones skill level is removed.

capitalism:

govt assistance:

you decide

Wasn’t Romper Room carried on PBS back in the 60’s?

If the airwaves above our beautiful land belong to us, then let us listen to what we choose! We choose with our dollars right wing radio where the truth is discussed, not partisan, funded with our stolen money NPR.

If NPR is Art, is it objective or subjective? If subjective, should it be given federal funding?

What a dunce. Bill Moyers is seemingly lacking in even a scintilla of self-awareness. He is the perfect caricature of the effete, Walter Mitty-esque, clueless yet holier-than-thou leftist.

An important part of the “art” of producing left-leaning news is knowing when to divert the listener’s attention to some totally irrelevant topic and in the process consume the program’s limited time slot.

Thus the “art” of NPR is not only how they cover what topics they choose to report on, but what they choose to not report on at all and instead have erudite stories about Amazon native’s struggle with toe fungus.

*I thought Bill Moyers was dead. I guess brain-dead doesn’t count.*

He's made the transformation from useful idiot to generic idiot.

Romper Room is the only thing that he can understand now. His keepers are hoping that someday he may be able to understand old reruns of Barney and maybe even Teletubbies.

Bill Moyers made a fortune selling tapes of shows that were produced with NPR/taxpayer money and shielded from corporate taxes. Art, you bet, the art of the ripoff.

*Moyers: NPR Is Like Art
I agree. It’s a leech. The old masters are spinning in their graves.*

It’s the same kind of art that National Endowment for the Arts promotes. The kind that involve urine and feces

Not another dime of any productive American's money ought to go to subsidize NPR or PBS, which only exist to mock and ridicule their values. And that's just what Moyers is doing with his "Romper Room" comment, because he knows Saul's Fifth Commandment:

5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage." - Saul Alinsky

NPR defunding has really hit a liberal nerve.

Every no-talent liberal bum I know has been e-mailing me about the tragedy, wanting to sign petitions, etc.

For the life of me, I can't understand why they're so supportive of an organization they have zero chance to be noticed by.
