I can’t remember the exact words, but she was responding to a question being asked by the interviewer who refrerred to a Hillary Clinton talking about the number of women leaders elected in Latin America. I no way did I sense that Palin said we need a woman president just because she was a woman.
Yeah, the article is written so vague, I would want someone else to substantiate that she actually said that. And Im not even the biggest Palin supporter out there. But I would prefer to know the facts before I comment on whether someone is right or wrong.

she was responding to a question of if she thought a woman COULD be elected POTUS. And she responded that not only did she thing a woman could be elected in present day America but she thought it was time fo a woman to be elected.
