"Give me a brake she was being tongue and cheek." You know this, how? Are you clairvoyant? The story says the line was met with "applause". It says nothing about "laughter".
I'm assuming she was perfectly serious, until someone proves otherwise.

Maybe because he saw the speech?
Your whole low rent, mildly retarded, version of Charles Krauthammer act would go down a lot easier if you’d actually inform yourself and watch speeches rather than making a donkey out of yourself by demanding that someone ‘prove’ something that could never possibly be proven.
Lucky for you, someone will probably upload the interview to YouTube.

LOL, before I’d read downthread, I posted the same thing in response: You know this how?
Then I went back and clarified.

(I am sick of people adding comments to titles in the title box. Thank you.)

To 25 - Mrs Palin was (regrettably) serious in her statement. Hardly "tongue in cheek".
It's pathetic how some of her supporters blatantly lie about her or things she has said or done.
And if she's going to bring up former presidents she might consider a little less Lincoln and a lot more Jefferson.
