I agree with more than 90% of what Sarah says, but not this. It's time the best person for the job became president, not a diversity hire, not a relative of a previous president or the next person in line according to party seniority, not a charming philanderer or someone whose best trait is a believable promise that "I will not lie to you", not a crook that others are afraid to stand up to. I want the best that America has to offer, which we've only chosen once in my lifetime - Ronald Reagan. As it happens, it looks to me like the best person for the job today happens to be female (and beautiful), but that's a coincidence or a bonus, not a relevant consideration.
To be fair, she was asked in a binary sense, in which it either is time for a female president or it is not. I’m very glad she answered in the affirmative rather than the negative.
