Peter King Blew It. Hearings didn't even come close to delivering what he advertised.

When they’re a very small minority, Muslims are capable of good and noble behavior. There are countless stories of the occasional token “good Muslim” who does something noble and patriotic. However, as some writer wrote, the tipping point is when the Muslim population reaches around 5% of the population.

I’ve never seen so much Bovine Excrement dumped on a Congressman in my lifetime (too young for Tail Gunner Joe). King was heroic in even proceeding with anything. Anyone who steps forward to say something is not supported one iota, and then when they fail “we” trash them to pieces. It is time for ALL patriots to stand up and be counted.

I sent Representative King an email encouraging him to have the hearings about the radicalization of Muslims, hoping that he and others would face the fact that no matter what, each and every Muslim is a danger to our country. What do we get? Pussyfooting around the issue. What a crock!

Isn’t there anyone on either side of the aisle who will do what is necessary to defend the American people from the jihad?

Not that I can foresee.

It has been my observation that these types of hearings are well intended up front, but by the time they become reality, tremendous pressures are brought to bear against the chairman so that he will not make waves, offend some group.

I believe King was well intended. I also believe his hearings fell far short of the mark. And what is worse, it is now on the record that this has been checked out, and found not to be a problem at all.

The Clintons used to make hay off the failed investigations too. Their skating on all charges, when I knew damn well there was heavy criminal activity going on there, will follow me to my grave.

Peter King is a defeinte mental light weight. The perfect Ken Starr type foil for an investigation into Muslims in America.

I like Pam, but here she is just shamelessly pimping for her co-author Spencer and best bud Emerson. Both are eminent, but King chose well with the panel he had. No one could have predicted Ellison’s croc tears, although a staffer should have informed King, so he could have challenged Ellison’s false account in a subsequent statement. But this was the FIRST HEARING. Give it time.

However, as some writer wrote, the tipping point is when the Muslim population reaches around 5% of the population.

Perhaps what happens is a single Muslim who mostly associates and lives around non-Muslims doesn't get indoctrinated into radical Islam.

As the size of the Muslim community grows to a critical mass, it becomes big enough to support a full-time radical cleric trained in the radical Saudi Wahabbi sect, who then engages in radical indoctrination.

I agree that King was brave to put the question out there and to begin the process....Over time, he’s impressed me as a storm with more bluster than precipitation. I’ll admit that his alliance with the thinking of Bloomberg and Obama, et al on my 2nd Amendment rights has coloured my perception of him and his ability to substantially “put up”....I don’t believe we’ll ever get the “or shut up” option with him. But, who knows. Do you think he will vote or has voted to defund NPR this afternoon?
