11% say Communism is better than U.S. system

What? Are you kidding me? No, I’m not. A new Rasmussen survey shows that 11% believe a Communist system is morally superior than the current U.S. system.

1. Is the United States system of politics and economics morally superior to communism or is communism morally superior to the United States system of politics and economics?

So according to 11% of those surveyed, a Communist system is better than Freedom, Capitalism, and the ability to be an idiot and vote for Communism. Though taking a “wild guess,” it was probably the Liberals who chose Communism compared to freedom, or possibly President Obama and his cabinet. Also 13% undecided? Really? Why do 24% of those who didn’t answer the U.S. system even live in America?

I've heard similar stats before, glad it isn't growing. I wouldn't be too surprised if there are a lot of people in that study who have no idea what communism is besides redistribution and people like a guy I knew who kinda liked the whole idea but admitted it was entirely imposable due to human nature. He voted GOP here and there, good guy and kind of a character.

Well then, 11% of the people in that sample don't know history. Or maybe they don't know statistics very well. Although it is pretty easy to understand that communism/socialism has a 100% failure rate in creating happy, prosperous, liberal, and free societies. No matter how bad you are at statistics or history, that simple fact should ring through even the thickest skull.

Communism/socialism sucks, it is an epic fail. It does not work. It never has worked. It can never work. Technology doesn't matter. Enlightenment doesn't matter. Who is in charge doesn't matter. Socialism just plain does not work, period. It has been tried numerous times and always, always fails. Why anyone would embarrass themselves by promoting it I have no idea. Why not promote other ideas that universally suck, like slavery (which socialism is not far off from), or eugenics, or a flat-Earth...

Socialism, has there ever been an idea as widely held that was then proven wrong time and time again in such an embarrassingly overwhelming fashion?

I would like to see the breakdown between men and women in this survey.
Then by age.
Then by ethnic origin.
Then take the same survey of people that got out of the USSR 30 years ago and compare.
The schools have failed if they haven’t taught that the Berlin Wall was to keep the people in and not stop us from invading. If they take the time to look at some older photos it’s clear which way the machine guns were pointing.

You're right - I'd kick in a grand to relocate anyone of voting age who wants to go to a "socialist workers paradise" outside our borders. On one condition: it is a one way ticket, you can never come back with some dumb-a** notion of "Well, socialism wasn't what I thought it would be in abc. It would've worked there but for xyz. I think it could work in the United States..." Nope, once you're gone, you're gone.

This poll wildly understates the preference for communism. The entire rat party prefers Marxism with a strong hatred for economic freedom and capitalism. Rats tolerate capitalism to provide a convenient whipping boy and an easy target to steal from. The rat vision is everyone working for the government except for an enslaved capitalist class producing the wealth.
