I stayed at a 5 star hotel in Bahrain once. It had an English Pub in the hotel - imported from London and reassembled brick by brick, stone by stone. They had a Polish rock band playing in another lounge - the Arab Muslims (all of them drinking booze) had to drag their tongue's off the floor from lusting after the blond white girl lead singer.

We went out to a nightclub (took a taxi). A Western woman (who was quite pretty) came with us, and we had to rescue her from the Arab Muslims (again.....drinking) who basically wanted to rape her.

I’ve been to Bahrain several times - several nice hotels, and you can even buy pork in some stores. On the weekends, the Saudis flock there (across the King Fahd Causeway) to get drunk and chase women, then return home to put on their white sheets, towels and fan belts to act like good Muslims.

The Bahrainis are decent people - they, in fact, work for a living, contribute to society, and care about and have pride in their country (they even drive taxis and serve in restaurants).

The aristocracy could treat their people better (as could ours), so there are the poor who propogate a few discontents, but I understand from sources there that most of this is stirred up by “outsiders.”
