To: The Magical Mischief Tour

Think also to the inauguration of Barack Obama, where everyone left every bit of their trash on the ground.

There is a part of America where people feel “owed.” They do not have any consideration of their fellow humans. They feel that someone will be there to provide or clean up after them. It’s not about what you achieve; it’s about what you can GET.

These are things you learn from your parents. I know that perhaps there is racial disparity in which Americans become this greedy and selfish, but it’s not straight down racial lines. There are considerate blacks and selfish, greedy whites.

Stopping creating these thuggish animals begins on day one. If there is an item in the bottom of the shopping cart that didn’t get paid for, you make sure your kids see you take it back into the store and pay for it. You make sure the kids know you NEVER drop ANYTHING on the ground that isn’t less intrusive than a watermelon seed. You save your garbage until you find a trashcan. Let them know that it’s rude to make cleaning people pick up your messes; make other people’s jobs easier rather than harder.

I think a lot of these kids see their parents dump their car trash into parking lots (we were late getting back to our car at Disneyland once and the emptied parking spaces were littered with food trash and USED DIAPERS!). Some of them grew up with known stolen items in their home - TVs, furniture. What can be learned from that? Yes, there are laws and rules -— for OTHER people. We just take what we can get.

It's been two years and Obama has failed to leave an imprint as the great president/leader of "his people." Instead of addressed the heartland of America about civility, there are issues far greater he could, if he wanted, address. They are issues that affect America's cities and states and the people Eric Holder "says" are "his."

Society is paying a high price for "fatherless" children

Snips:

….According to the Pew Research Center (PRC), 72% of all black babies born in 2008 were out of wedlock.

….According to published reports, 63% of teen suicides come from fatherless homes, 90% of all runaways and homeless children come from fatherless homes, 80% of rapists come from fatherless homes, 85% of children with behavioral problems come from fatherless homes, 71% of all high school dropouts come from fatherless homes, 75% of all adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes, and 85% of all youths in prison come from fatherless homes.
