Yep. I remember talking with my Dad about why they built all those houses on the flood plains. I remember the flood they had in 72’ I think it was, when the Cumberland took out the warehouses in East Nashville.

that is true...i was there and a good thing too because unlike the BS many here think that FEMA really helps absorb it all

nope

they cap home buyouts at 27,900 bucks

how many folks only have a 27,900 dollar mortgage

plain sucks

we have battled the city for almost a year now over our mandatory biz shutdown...we may get relief

there was very little looting in Nashville and some of the flooding was in areas snotty race baiters here would call white trash

folks still living in tents and in the summer heat and they still maintained dignity
