Like a big chain reaction. Makes me wonder what else this monster earthquake could trigger?

Hang in there, Japan. This will all pass.

Prayers for the injured, the killed, the lost, and their families.

As the news worsens, it’s difficult to hold back the tears. You think how can it get worse? Then it does.

It’s hard to know where to begin, honestly....

Perhaps I’m wrong, but I cannot think of a place that has had to face so much deadly serious stuff in so short of a time span as we are seeing in Japan right now.

Earthquake
Tsunami
Radiation
and now, a volcanic eruption?

There haven’t been many times in my life that I wished to be wealthy; but this is one of those few times. I wish I had the ability to write a cool check for $ 1,000,000 to the Salvation Army’s Japanese operation.

Maybe Michael Moore can get off his overfed, fat, lardass to do it.

With that big a quake, it's not surprising that it may have created a crack that can allow volcanic pressure to escape.

The Ring of Fire.

Peru, Christchurch, Japan, all major earthquakes, follow in a clockwise procession and you have Alaska being next, Mt. St. Helen or nearby volcanos PLUS a very nasty potentially dangerous fault near Vancouver island, and then of course California.

Time to keep a very close eye upon the Alaskan volcanos.

The Japanese are industrious, lithe and intelligent - Not exactly “his people.”

You are one selfish SOB! He’s throwing his weight, so to speak, behind the poor, helpless, impoverished, soon-to-be destitute unions! (sarc off)

10 eruptions since January.

Sounds like this one was likely to erupt anyway.

dangerous fault near Vancouver island

I heard that could trigger earthquake just as devastating as the one we saw in Japan.

I wish I had the ability to write a cool check for $ 1,000,000 to the Salvation Army’s Japanese operation.

Write a conscise, heartfelt letter to someone who does have that ability, and ask them to do it. Make it clear it isn't a chain letter and won't be repeated. Sign it so they can gauge your authenticity and sincerity.

You never know.

Doesn't hurt to try, and has been known to work.
