Hope so. I’ve only seen videos of people (in quake) from Tokyo area. Other than the few in various videos on a bridge while the boats go under and whomever was filming. It looks like ghost towns. How awful.

I'm not so sure. When the extension of the zone was announced, it was said both No 1 & No 2 power plant areas, Fukushima Daini and Fukushima Daiichi, are under a 20 km evacuation zone now.
1-10 if Chernobyl was 10 what is situation at Japan reactor?

That is where everyone needs to stop and take a breath.
Exactly how informed/educated is the media regarding Nuke power? How long did they go to school for this subject? How many tests and certifications did they have to pass to work in the Industry?
Been apparent over the years many in the liberal media received their degrees out of a Box of Cracker Jacks.
Pause..Take a break and do not play into an environment of created hysteria.
Wait for accurate and rock solid facts from knowledgeable people and NOT those with political and other agendas.

Wasn’t the problem with Chernobyl that the graphite caught on fire and was almost impossible to put out, with the smoke contributing to the spread of contaminants?
