Where have I heard those words before....Russia?! Venting into the air is NOT good. ALL that area will be unlivable in the future! If I'm correct by the pictures of the reactor it sits near the ocean and THAT is not good. The greenies will have an 8.9 convulsion!! BTW, do y'all think the dead Anchovy(spell ?) fish that were discovered on the California shore yesterday or the day before have any connection to the quake?? Hmmmmmmm

This is an early designed (late 50’s design) plant, it doesn’t have a secondary containment dome. If they lose control and there is a steam explosion radiation will likely spread.

Someone posted that there isn't a seoondary containment vessel. Not a good thing.

I don't think this will be a major disaster, but it will set back the nuclear industry --again. I remember how the media treated TMI and Chernobyl. This if going to be another feeding frenzy.
