pole shift

They did say this quake has caused a shift - The Recent one in Chile did also - as have others recently. Orlando's Airport, fr one, just had to reconfigure their GPS co ordinances for their runways so's planes coming in on instruments didn't land on the grass BESIDE the runway.

Looks like it's time for some more configuration.

The magnetic pole shift has nothing to do with earthquakes. The Orlando airport thing got a lot of press but was in fact routine. The pole was shifting just as fast a century ago as it is now.
