Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. As one official put it, No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintaos words in Tahrir Square.
Obama Seeks a Course of Pragmatism in the Middle East, The New York Times, March 11, 2011.
Mr. Obama is right.
If youre president of China, people around the world who are fighting for freedom dont really expect you to help. If youre president of China, you dont have to put up with annoying off-year congressional elections, and then negotiate your budget with a bunch of gun-and-religion-clinging congressmen and senators. If youre president of China, you can fund your national public radio to your hearts content. And if youre president of China, when you host a conference on bullying in schools, people take you seriously.
Unfortunately for him and us, Barack Obama is president of the United States. That job brings with it certain special responsibilities. Its a tough jobmaybe tougher than being president of China. But Barack Obama ran for president of the United States. Maybe he should start acting as one.

Another disturbing glimpse into the ‘bummer's mind set.
Instead of being proud to be pres. of a free people - who can speak their minds - he longs to be a dictator...
but this isn't news to us
At the same time, this is a condescending remark to make against the Chinese leader...not very diplomatic.

Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. Works for me. Can we take up a collection to make this happen?

This pronouncement comes as no surprise to many of us who studied his "known" history when he was campaigning. What upset so many of us is the fact that so much of his history is hidden and the 4th Estate could care less about finding out -
just elect him so we can wash our slavery sins away forever.
Our politicians are corrupt for installing him in office when many in the country were calling for validation of his NBC status - there were many steps along the way when his coronation could have been halted...............the RAT party believes China is the country to emulate, they love the dictatorship mode of governance.
