(WI) DOJ investigating threats (Now Rep. Kapanke threatened too)
Wispolitics dot com ^ | 3-10-11 | JR Ross

The Department of Justice is investigating threats against state GOP Sens. Scott Fitzgerald and Dan Kapanke as well as "several other threats from a variety of sources."

The agency said it would not confirm anything beyond that.

Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, released to the media earlier today a death threat he received via e-mail.

UPDATE: 2:28 p.m. -- Here's the text of an e-mail that Sen. Dan Kapanke's office said it received last night. A Kapanke aide said the office is not releasing any identifying information and has forwarded the e-mail to Capitol police.

WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN. WE WILL SLIT YOUR THROATS. WE WILL DRINK YOUR BLOOD. I WILL HAVE YOUR DECAPITATED HEAD ON A PIKE IN THE MADISON TOWN SQUARE. THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING.

The latest victim of hateful death threats, Rep. Kapanke is one of the Republican state assembly members who has been targed by the Left with a recall petition. He represents an are of western Wisconsin around La Crosse.

Yeah, I’m sure Holder will investigate this just as aggressively as he did the New Black Panther case.

If this DOJ wouldn’t really investigate the documented cases of Black Panthers intimidating voters in 2008 - why should we expect the same (actually even MORE Obama-bot run) DOJ to conduct a meaningful investigation of these threats in WI?

Answer: We shouldn’t expect anything.

Remember - the DOJ’s boss... is the same “new civility” preacher who SENT these GOONS to WI to create havoc in the first place. Obama fully endorses the tactics at play.

The Department of Justice is investigating threats....

Hope they have adequate personal security, with the DOJ investigating and since they are conservative Republicans and white, they are on their own.

No doubt. The "Justice Dept." will investigate with the same vigor they are defending the states' Defense-of-Marriage laws.

Forgive me, but I don’t want Obama’s Jus’ Dis’ Department anywhere near this thing. I want it solved and prosecuted to the fullest extent, not brushed under a rug.

Headline should be:

Feds Trump Local Law Enforcement to Control Investigation.

If union thugs orchestrated the threats and broke the law = RICO.

Of course, instead of having local cops charge conspiracy they want the InJustice Department to investigate it = sweep it under the rug.

OK MSM that was so outraged at Palin, time for you to speak up or prove you are a politically biased lap dog of the liberal elite.

I will not hold my breath for it, but one can hope.

Although the death threats are probably bogus and just a way for Wisconsin public service union members venting their rage that the gravy train is coming to a stop, they have to be taken seriously. With the Obama Justice Department ‘on the case’, its guaranteed that they won’t be. These Wisconsin state senators need extra protection from the union thugs as well as our prayers. If any harm comes to any Wisconsin Republican politician based on this kind of threat, it will be on the heads of the Obama administration, the greedy, arrogant unions and the Democrat politicians screaming about the horror of ending collective bargaining for unionized state employees whose benefits and pensions have helped push Wisconsin toward bankruptcy. All the while Wisconsin state union employees scream for their ‘rights’ (read: taxpayer-funded benefits/pensions) and the media carefully ignores the glaring gap between the lush salaries, benefits and pensions of WI state employees and the citizens who’s taxes pay for the state employees benefits & pensions.

Most likely Holder was on the phone bank helping call in the threats.
