GOP's Dem's shenanigans in Wisconsin ensure the fight will only escalate

There... fixed it.

Liberals are screaming their heads off at the death of taxpayer subsidies to the Democratic Party.

I love it when they mourn!

In a situation where they had repeated opportunities to resolve this standoff and plausibly declare victory for themselves

In the e-mails released, and subsequent statements of the democrats, there was NEVER an opportunity to resolve the standoff in a way that would have been a victory for Wisconsin (which is what counts, not whether a party has a victory).

They worked for 3 weeks, with the democrats rejecting every proposal except "do what we want"; then they said they were done bargaining.

I know, I know
Why don’t we all just get along and pass legislation using the same civil tactics as Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid

Man. if the Tea Party had entered the US Capitol last march when Nan Pelosi inc (aka US Congress) forced obamacare down our throats- we’d be in re-education camps

[This evening, Wisconsin Repubicans took the drastic step of breaking up the budget repair bill and passing only a measure rolling back the collective bargaining rights of public employees]

That is INACCURATE! The bill passed included 95% of the original bill. It included the portion that requires unions to pay a bigger share of their healthcare and pensions. Why does the media keep misreporting this?

exactly! Since when is the majority expected to bow to the minority? If you ask me we’ve been doing that long enough and look where it got us.

Looks to me like the GOP pretty much put an end to the shenanighans. They beat up the Dems and took their lunch money. Duh! Winning!

When WAPO is appalled, then I am delighted...

Which side does anyone expect the MSM to come down on...the obama/union side, as usual.

Republican lives and the the lives of their families are being threatened, but WAPO is not worried about that at all...I wouldn't be surprised if they offer to buy the bullets.

The left wants violence & will not quit until they get it. I suspect they’re probably disappointed it’s taken this long........

The Wisonsin Dem’s attempt to frustrate majority ruled were circumvented by the Republicans-and the Republicans are the bad guys?

" they had repeated opportunities to resolve this standoff and plausibly declare victory for themselves"

Wow. I had just posted the following in ANOTHER Thread, but the Washington Compost Fishwrapper sure proves my point (saving face bullshit):

"What, no compromise?" will scream the MSM" The Liberals use the trendy words of "bi-partisan", "compromise", "negotiated Diplomatic solution", etc., when in fact there is RIGHT, and there is WRONG.

Liberals are a touchy/feely/appearance bunch, and do not accept the concept of what's right, and what's wrong.

When the issue is not an outcome THEY want, they want to water-down the RIGHT solution, so they can "feel better". Bullshit. You will do the right thing (principle), and they can get out of the way."

This evening, Wisconsin Repubicans took the drastic step of breaking up the budget repair bill and passing only a measure rolling back the collective bargaining rights of public employees.

This is an absolutely delicious paragraph of liberal angst, whining, and impotent frustration. Yet, as my namesake would say ...

"Don't try to make friends with me".

I guess the point of the article was the GOP cannot do things like passing bills without allowing the other side to see them, deeming bills to pass, and then after the votes are cast, the head ass saying, I won.
