From the Journal Sentinel:

Madison — Demonstrators crowded the Capitol in a wild scene after senators passed a budget-repair bill in a hastily called meeting Wednesday night that outraged protesters and Democratic legislators.

The protesters yelled, "You lied to Wisconsin," and "Kill the Bill," as they pressed close to the doors of the Senate chamber.

As senators debated the legislation, a crowd of hundreds whistled loudly and roared their disapproval.

Tim Donovan, a spokesman for the Department of Administration, said that protesters were supposed to remain on the ground floor of the Capitol, but police allowed them to move to the upper floors.

The police have been a major problem. Once the smoke has cleared and the union mobs have slithered back home, Walker really needs to clean house and press for the firing of many of these police who aided the protesters.

This is part of the problem. The union police are compromised and the Governor cannot count on law enforcement to enforce the law. These mob invasions and destruction must be stopped, but I wonder if the Democrats are trying to provoke the governor into calling out the guard so Obama can insert himself by Federalizing the guard.

Completely irresponsible. A dereliction of duty. It makes me so angry to hear these cops have so little respect for their position as officers of the law.

Effin’ WI cops. I’ve always supported law enforcement in the past, but when the shit really hits the fan in this country are the cops going to fire on the citizenry because that’s what their union tells them to do? Aren’t they going against the orders of a judge??

Feh!

WI Republicans left the capital in Madison and are in Milwaukee. They left under police protection because they felt it was unsafe for republicans in Madison.

This being reported by Glenn Grothman WI R Senator, on Greta’s show right now.
