The kid isn’tmuch of a kid anymore they need to find a way to write him out.If there is a mother still alice she should come back to get him and at the same time perhaps a surprise kid could show up.Dear uncle so and so what ever Sheens character name was could die in a car accident and one of the other guys friends could be suddenly widowed and need a place to stay....perhaps bring gthe new kid in with him? Introduce someone who’s been out of the dating sceen since the 1980’s...lots of funny stuff there to write about.

Actually, Herb, the ex-wife’s current husband, could assume a larger role. He’s pretty darned funny in his own right. Allen and Herb would make a funny pair since they’re both pretty pathetic characters.
