Where do you suppose the Democrats are going to get the money to do this?

Recall of WI Democrats:

“Utah group mounts recall campaign against Wisconsin senators

By Mary Wisniewski
CHICAGO | Fri Feb 25, 2011 8:20am EST
(Reuters) - A Utah group trying to recall the Arizona sheriff who complained of “bigotry” in the wake of the Tucson shootings has also launched recall efforts against seven Wisconsin Democratic senators.

The senators are among 14 who left the state to avoid a vote on a Republican-sponsored bill to limit collective bargaining rights for state workers.

The American Recall Coalition of Salt Lake City has registered electronically to set up recall committees against Democratic senators Bob Wirch, Mark Miller, Lena Taylor, Fred Risser, Julie Lassa and Dave Hansen. The Coalition also wants to recall Spencer Coggs, but needs to register using a local representative.

Reid Magney, a spokesman for Wisconsin’s Government Accountability Board, said his office is still waiting to receive paper registrations from the Coalition.

“It took me about five minutes to find people in Wisconsin to support this,” said Coalition executive director Daniel Baltes, in an interview. He said he had found a local representative for Coggs’ Milwaukee district, but still needed to re-file the registration for the Coggs recall committee....”

OK, it takes 60 days to get the signatures for a recall.

But, doesn’t it take only 30 days for the Governor to declare the seats vacant?

And would there then be a quorum, since the seats are empty at that time?

Would Walker call those seats vacant if these Fleebagers were gone that long?

I just hope the Republican leaders -- including and especially those in Washington -- understand what they are facing even while trying to "get along" and "show respect" to the "other side of the aisle".

The only thing the Democrat-Socialist Party understands and respects is the uncompromising us of power ... which the Democrat-Socialists do not hesitate to use -- even while in the minority -- while Republicans wring their hands searching for a "solution" or a compromise.

nascent grassroots drive

It is anything but nascent. The CPUSA through its willing army of SEIU, AFSCME, et. al. are firmly in charge of this. Tacit approval most likely from 1600 Pa. Av. too.

You know what some of the GOP senators in WI should do; agree with the ‘rats that they will vote against Gov. Walkers plan, get the 14 cowards back there, and then vote for it, all the ‘rats could do is cry shame again and sit there looking like dopes.

Not sure if there any legal hurdles to pulling such a trick, but I would love to see it happen :P

It is over.

When they cannot respect the voters...and play games like this...

the time of being or recovering a lawful land through the ballot box.

This will leave only the other kind of box.

The democrats and the unions have colluded to overthrow the state government. They need to be arrested for sedition.

"The proposals and the policies that Republicans are pushing right now are not what they campaigned on, and they're extreme,"

At this point in the article I checked the author to see if it was a John Semmens piece ... alas, no it isn't

It really irritates the daylights out of me that he want to follow some type of legislative process to recall the senators to achieve their goal. Yet, when the legislative process is being followed and the end result is not to their liking - they think it’s ok to run away, go awol, and protest that it’s not fair.

The democrats have steamrolled federal legislation over us for 2 years. Yet, when one piece of significant state legislation is about to go through, they act like they are being taken advantage of. The hypocricy is mind-boggling.

Phhhht. Communists are losing in my humble opinion and seats are up for grabs in the Commiecrat party amongst a few. Alinsky never planned to be in the minority.
