I got into it with some kid in the boys room in 7th grade. We punched ourselves into exhaustion.
Principle came in, asked who started it. Everyone hung their head and said nothing.
We BOTH got five. Board of Education thing you know. We got 3 days, and worst of all, he called our pops.
Big time trouble.
We did the deed, we paid the price. We grew up really fast and got an education that these kids today don’t know.
We were best friends for years.

If I had gotten into a similar fight for reason of defending myself from a bully, my dad would have shown me how to fight better!
Nothing to flame about.
My kid caught his bully alone in the bathroom at school during 5th grade and beat the tar out of the kid.
The kid never said a word about it and never messed with my son again.
