Agreed. I’ve been playing golf for almost 30 years. I love the game, but it’s not the reason I listen to him or talk radio, in general.

The Haney Project is zero interest to me, not being a golfer. I guess Rush wanted to make the point that he’s a good listener with that anecdote today.

But I am interested in hearing Trump because he is about the only one who’ll talk bluntly about our one-sided trade relationship with China and related matters. Somebody needs to shake-up the Republican campaign discussions because the probably candidates are definitely playing it safe with (avoiding) some of the more controversial issues.

Sorry Frog, you are doomed to belong to a political party in which the leading philosophers are former disc jockeys. You be sure and call me, won't you, when some liberal person of your acquaintance says, "Gee Frog, I listened to Rush today, and now I am going to vote Conservative."

Rush is a master broadcaster. Probably the finest ever. But way back in the Jurassic 50's, we had our favorite disc jockeys, too, and we already knew the words to every song they were going to play. The choir already knows the hymns, but that does not diminish their pleasure in singing them.

For example, Rush is anti-illegal immigration now. But when it would really have been of help, he parroted the US Chamber of Commerce line, that it was, ".... The sign of a healthy economy..." and not to worry about it!

Oh BTW, call me when Rush does a show on "Constitutional Eligibility." Rush's job is to sell stuff on the radio to his niche audience, which he does very well. However, 4 million of them who voted for GW, were not to be inspired to get off their duffs and vote in the elections of 2008.
