Pure acting. Remember when Dole did the same thing when he called Clinton a bozo and in 98 McCain called Chelsea clinton ugly. The rinos think this stimulates the base because they think we are all knuckle draggers.
I would prefer that Senator Hatch used a hard hitting but classier verbage.
a saying I learned in elementary school seems to apply:
“Takes one to know one!”
Hatch has always had two gears. Forward and reverse. He never uses the clutch he just picks a gear and jams the stick then puts the gas pedal to the metal. No one knows what his next move will be.
His guiding light, the estimable Senator Ted Phogbound Kennedy died and Orrin has to feel his way along.
Maybe that’s being unfair to Kennedy.

I don’t think so. Hatch has been all over the map for his entire career. Whatever position he takes he goes full bore with it though.
