Putin Inc. was soo disgusted with the weird teletubby mascots originally selected, they put it to a vote (yes Russian style were people waste the time to vote, and Putin Inc. selects the winner). Here is the final mascots for the Russian winter olympics and they actually aren't too bad. The bear, snow leapord, and rabbit are their olympics mascots. The fire boy and snowflake girl are the special olympics mascots.
compare these to the absolutely bizarre London Olympics mascots which has the world saying, "WTF???"
