If an elected official tells a member of a municipal committee that that member shouldn’t opine in the newspaper about events at a municipal meeting, is that elected official trying to impinge on their First Amendment rights?
The hypothetical elected official says he is not.
You have no idea what the past week has been like for me.

Vinson can act without a complainant asking?
To: Clint N. Suhks
he has a motion for clarification (stay without asking for a stay) pending before him - the states had until last thursday to answer - waiting for his ruling (or clarification) which i am betting will be again the equivalent of an injunction - if not a direct injunction

They can start impeachment proceedings. This country will be finished by 2012.
Oversights being stubbed re: FOIA docs.
Pay someone to get inside memos.
OT, what precedent does going to the courts set? What if the judges are bought or threatened?
Re: HC
Why has he given waivers and why have they not responded to the courts ruling on HC (and drilling as well).
Why can’t they de-Roosevelt him and use the transcripts (govs), and leg docs for court as well?
Goodbye states rights.
Speaking of which, WI and others need to rid themselves of running legislators.

While Kennedy was in Santiago he made arrangements to rent a brothel for an entire night. Kennedy allegedly invited one of the Embassy chauffeurs to participate in the nights activities.

get all these lawyers in the same room - i am sick of ‘waiting for response’
found this
Instead, he gave the 26 states and the National Federation of Independent Business, which also sued to block enforcement of the ACA, until Wednesday to file a response, and the Obama administration until next Monday, Feb. 28, to file a reply.
After that, he will rule promptly, he said.

Vinson said he would rule promptly, I didn’t realize Justice owed him a brief due today.
