Sorry, the US should be supporting the old man who has proven too tired to stir the region into war for years now. Support the status quo is the call. The administration has no idea (or sadly..maybe they do) what they are doing
While I agree with you that Daffy is likely the lesser of two evils we likely face (Daffy vs radical Islamist), at this point being seen as helping Daffy, and then having him lose anyway, would be far worse over the long term than doing nothing.
