The army will probably take over from Qaddafi. But writing a democratic constitution is a tall order for a nation that has never known democracy.

Qaddafi apparently misread the import of the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions and thought he could ride out the storm. It turned out to be a fatal miscalculation.

Once people stopped being afraid, the tide turned despite all the power the state had on its side against an unarmed population.

And the feeling for people is an exhilarating one. They never thought this day would come. The dictator turned out to be no match for them.

Islamo fascism is just around the corner. Many of these young Liberals will probably wish Qaddafi was still in power before it is all said and one.

Not to worry. They can use our Constitution. We don't use it anymore.
