Al Jazeera trashing Obama over Libya

Watching the coverage of Libya on AJ, it is striking how they are calling for two things we should have already done. Naval forces off their coast to keep LIbyan Navy in port, and no fly zone over Libya to keep Libyan Air Force grounded and protect civilians

Why? What US national interest is served in our reducing the number of Islamist rebels killed? I don't think there is a "good" side in this conflict.

At least Qaddafi has been relatively quiet as far as major terrorist ops against us, as far as we can tell.

The last time we saw this kind of enthusiasm from Kerry was when he was giving the Vietcong advice on how to evict US forces from South Vietnam.

Kerry also led the cheers for Daniel Ortega and the Sandinistas vs the Contras.

Just a natural affinity for left-wing dictators, I guess.

I work in tv production, so sometimes I get live shots for AJ, and I’ll tell you - they sound overall MUCH more reasonable (not to mention sane) than MSOBC.
