Mr. Limbaugh is an entertainer...his "profession" does not require any kind of university degree. This has been amply demonstrated by the "entertainers" in hollywood.
And Mr. Lincoln lived in a time when passing the bar meant to read law books with a prospective partner, and when becoming in doctor meant you attended what is the modern day equivalent of high school biology at a university for two years (never having come near a body - living or dead) and then were granted a diploma to "practice medicine".
There is no one ... or any organization that twists one's arm behind one's back to force them to go to an institute for higher learning, nor to earn any kind of degree.
If there are those who would be better off without college, then let them bypass the effort.
They are NOT silly. I was pointing out that many successful people have not needed "undergraduate degrees" to get ahead/make a name for themselves. Many people on this thread have already answered that exact point I was making in the affirmative. No reason for snobbery.
Name three, current living federal representatives and one federal senator that do no have college degrees.
If there are "comparisons" to be made...at least keep them within the same generation.
