The two Iranian naval ships which crossed the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Tuesday morning are carrying "advanced Hezbollah weapons," Maariv Israeli paper reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
The sources told the paper, "Estimates indicate the two ships are carrying missiles of different range, rifles, ammunition, and night-vision gear... The voyage of the two ships is an Iranian attempt to go around the arms embargo on Hezbollah."
The paper also said that it is believed the voyage is an attempt on the part of the Iranians to "test the waters" with and gauge the responses of the Egyptian Supreme Military Council and its stance towards Tehran.

Then why is Israel not doing anything? We would do something if we had a President instead of a Pres__ent but unfortunately we’re kind of stuck for at least another two years.
No doubt that is part of Israel's present do nothing tactics.
If Israel has intel that shows those weapons are onboard and the Iranians try to unload them there is going to be a major confrontation! Biblical in scope I believe! Do these war ships have missle launch capabilities?
Sounds like a black ops, total deniability kind of thing is in order. I am sure Israel could come up with a team and a plan. Really, to let those ships through is pure national suicide.

I’m afraid the mess we’re looking at has been planned for a long time and is being implemented! This is a war and the people cannot remain asleep forever. Sometime in the not to distant future someone will initiate violence that will cause the major S fan thing!
Two ships?? Whatever weaponry they carry, when the sh*t really hits the fan, can be neutralized in two seconds flat. So can Tehran and/or the whole Obama presence in the ME, and the Egyptian army and a good chunk of the population.

Unfortunately, it is actually more danger, violence, oppression, destruction and death to the weak and vulnerable people everywhere who are used to the mediating influence of a strong US.

One warship and one resupply ship is what I heard. Wouldn’t it be very interesting if the beat up old supply ship magically had a magnetic mine explode on its hull while passing close to Israel?
If anything happened to that ship obviously Israel will be blamed by the whole Muslim world no matter what the facts are. If they believe that Israel is putting spy gear on vultures how hard of a sell would a sunk ship be for them?
The big question is would Iran plant a bomb on the hull and lose a few martyrs to inflame everyone against Israel? (rhetorical question it seems)
