I may be wrong,but I think circumcision is no longer covered by Medi-Cal(Calif's Medi-Caid).
This is pure idiocy ,as usual for the likes of SF.
Some kids return to the hospital after circ.with infections,some are permanently damaged because of circ.,some come into the hosp because they have infections because they aren't circumcised.It was only within the past year that there was some type of uproar about the American Pediatric Society willing to perform “a modified female circumcision”to prevent the damages incurred by the practice.I have heard no more of that insane proposal.
