Created lots of cool grey smoke from the tail pipe (no catalytic converter to worry about then). Alas no discernible change in the engine knock. Ended up trading the old beast in on a Vega wagon, got $400 for it.
Spray it on a exhaust manifold bolt. The previous effect you experienced will last hours with this product.
