Yes, and often stigmatizes them with mental health referrals for utterly normal boy behavior. Once he's assigned to a therapist, a lot of people become sadly incapable of distinguishing between exuberance and homicidal tendencies.
Tragically, many of these boys have no fathers or other suitable male role models to guide them. Sometimes their fathers, too, have been psychologically castrated long since.
Damfools want to alter males, they want to alter human nature. They're the true criminals here.
To those who say, "Don't talk to police," I'd suggest they add: "Don't talk to mental health professionals."
The exception (usually) in this thing about therapists, are devout mainstream Christian doctors (Catholic or evangelical) whose practice is faith based. They know what’s normal for boys, and for girls, and probably seen it all. Occasionally you’ll still get one with smoke blown... well I won’t go there.
This whole stupid debacle in Arvada is probably going to end up with an armada (hey it rhymes) of police with egg on their faces and some sort of settlement with the officials involved, much more than what the family expended.
