Pirates currently hold 30 ships and more than 660 hostages, not counting the attack against the Quest.

Still your question is valid .. they should be picked off by SEAL snipers who are .. I am quite sure, more than ready willing and able to send them to Allah.

Sorry, but that's just stupid chest pounding.

SEAL snipers are not magic, and they can't get all of the bad guys, and certainly not all at once.

All it would do, is guarantee that the hostages will, in fact, be killed.
