What a bunch of nonsense the teachers here in Wisconsin are paid more then many of their counter parts in neighboring states like Minnesota. The people were hungry in the middle east I can assure you there are plenty of places here that provide food. There is no comparison and it is insulting that people try to drum one up. Wisconsin’s $10,791 per-pupil spending in its public schools was more than the $10,353 that neighboring Illinois spent; or the $10,048 that neighboring Minnesota spent; or the $9,520 that neighand Iowa spent.

Gosh, Lori. I wish you had not published the fact that Wisconsin pays their teachers over $700 more than teachers get in Minnesota. It’ll give our overpaid MN teachers ideas!!!!!

Some folks say greed is the culprit in all these wage issues, but they forget that other four-letter word/vice = ENVY!
